Medical microbiology lab dedicated to pioneering research in antimicrobial development, focusing on novel antibiotics and disinfectants. Our interdisciplinary approach combines microbiology, optometry, chemistry, and clinical applications to address the global challenge of antimicrobial resistance. We are also well known for our work in contact lenses, examining how microbes cause adverse events, and on understanding and mitigating discomfort during contact lens wear.
